Moordown pubs – redevelopment proposals
The Echo reports this month that developer Dreamland Bournemouth is seeking permission to re-develop two former pub sites on Wimborne Road:
- The Horse & Jockey – where they propose to demolish the historic building and replace it with a two/four storey building comprising 28 flats, 21 of which will be one-bedroom.
- The Holly Tree car park – where they propose to build a three-storey building with a mix of two commercial units and 5 flats.

Planning Application No 7-2019-4650-F registered 22nd March 2019. Comments welcome by 3rd May 2019. Demolition of the existing public house and the erection a 2/4 storey block of 28 flats with bin and cycle stores, underground and surface car parking and formation of new vehicular access
