Understanding the Apprenticeship Levy

From April 2017, the Government are introducing the Apprenticeship Levy to help fund employer apprenticeship schemes and to deliver 3 million apprenticeships by 2020.

What is it?

The levy will directly affect businesses with a payroll exceeding £3 million, but will also have wider implications for businesses of any size.

Bournemouth and Poole College and partners are hosting a free apprenticeship levy breakfast event on Tuesday 14th March 2017 to provide information and guidance about the levy.

Who should attend?

Employers of any size in Bournemouth and Poole would benefit from attending. Attendees will gain an understanding of:

 Attendees will be able to ask any questions and will be given a brief tour of the College’s apprenticeship facilities.

When: Tuesday 14 March 2017 from 08:15 to 09:30.

Complimentary refreshments will provided.

Where: Bournemouth and Poole College, North Road, Poole, BH14 0LS. Please report to reception. Parking is available in the Borough of Poole civic offices pay and display car park opposite the College.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
