The MTA was formed in March 2010.
We are an enthusiastic group of Moordown business owners that have come together to promote local trade and raise the profile of Moordown as a shopping and business destination.
We meet regularly (at least 11 times a year), and work closely with the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade & Commerce, Bournemouth Council, local Councillors and the media to ensure that the Moordown trading district is represented in a positive light.
We also strive to keep abreast of, and communicate to our members, any local / regional funding grants, business development opportunities and other initiatives that may benefit our trading community.
Annual membership is only £20.00.
Please contact our Chairman & Membership Secretary, Roger Eede, who will arrange to get a membership form to you to complete
You can download & print our membership application form and return it to Roger with your cheque at the address on the form
Simply join online (or renew your existing membership) and pay with your Paypal account or by credit/debit card as a guest of Paypal:
Promote your special offers, services or events on this website for an additional £20 a year.
Sarah, our website designer, will produce you your own MTA member webpage at more2moordown.com.
You will need to supply us with some basic information about your business/offer/event, together with your logo and preferably one or two photographs or other images to brighten up the page (a picture speaks a thousand words!).
The page will be independently 'optimised' for search engines, so if you don't have your own website this is an ideal opportunity to create an online presence that should bring you in new business.
Example member pages:
Available to MTA members only.

Our number one aim as a trade association is the promotion and advertising of our local businesses to the general public, both in Moordown and the wider community.
Second is to liaise closely with Bournemouth Chamber and Bournemouth Council to ensure we benefit from all available grants, help and advice
Thirdly, to create a strong network amongst the members of MTA to help promote one another's businesses to potential customers.
* The offer of a Member webpage (an additional £20/year) is explained above left
